I was so excited to kick of wedding season with Chris & Juliette’s wedding at the Boathouse at Mercer Lake! On a cloudy  Saturday morning with a rainy forecast I pulled into the parking lot of the Boathouse at Mercer Lake for Chris & Juliette’s wedding anticipating that the ceremony was obviously going to be changed to inside. I know every bride wants to avoid rain on their wedding day but, thanks to the wonderful staff at the Boathouse, they had already taken care of all the changes and made the arrangements for the ceremony to be inside the ballroom. Not just any ballroom… a light filled spectacular space with floor to ceiling windows made the perfect setting for the couple to finally say I do.

The florals were stunning, and paired so well with the rustic details that adorned the table leading into the room. The bright spring palette was perfect for their late April wedding celebration! After the ceremony we were lucky enough that the rain held off just long enough for the bridal party and I to walk down the deck where cocktail hour was held and take some photographs where the couple hoped the ceremony would be on the small grassy area leading out to a gazebo. After that, Finess Entertainment introduced the new Mr. & Mrs. into their reception and enjoyed the afternoon dancing, taking turns at the photo booth, and celebrating with close family and friends.
