There’s something special about photographing families in the winter—when everyone instinctively draws a little closer, cheeks are rosy, and the magic feels quieter, but no less meaningful.
This year’s BKP Winter Mini Session Event was such a gift! We kept things simple: a soft, neutral white nordic inspired setup dressed up just enough to let each family’s style and energy shine through. Whether you showed up in cozy knits or dressed to the nines in holiday sparkle, the space flexed to feel just like you.
Favorite Moments That Still Make Me Smile:
- One sweet little guy who was determined not to smile… until the last minute (and yes, we got it!)
- Wobbly babies with proud new sit-up tummy time skills—snuggled safe next to big brothers and nestled between mom and dad at tummy time too!
- A whole crew of toddlers who fell completely in love with the classic white rocking horse (we may have started a tradition!)
- Families who made it festive with pops of red and green, soft velvet textures and the best holiday attire—and others who kept it neutral for that timeless, all-year feel
It was short and sweet (just 10 minutes!), but we captured so much life in those frames. Real connection. Real laughter. Real memories made in the middle of real life.
