This blog post is made possible by Basic Invite, creating and customizing stationery for every event. Basic Invite is a paid sponsor but in reviewing and photographing their stationery I did my best to remain as objective as possible to help educate all my future #bkpbrides.
1,000 invitation sets, 180 colors, free wedding websites, keepsake guest books, and free address collection all prepare your guests for 1 big event, YOURS!
A sparkly new ring adorns the ring the finger of your left hand, it came from a loving fiance and also a LONG list of things to do in the wedding planning process. You have your vision for your big day and now you are in need of a wedding invite but are not sure where to start. I’ve been there, done the research, scouted the internet and all the bridal magazines people gifted to me and ended up making my own because I thought nothing fit “us” and what felt customized to me without breaking the budget.
I was recently introduced to Basic Invite and I personally wish I had this when I was planning my own wedding. They provide you with a great custom invitation set that is fast, easy to customize and looks flawless in person.
Collecting Addresses
We live in a digital era and not everyone has an old fashioned address book anymore. When it came to making the guest list for my own wedding there was a lot of hunting for addresses, and waiting for our parents to call for updated addresses and it took so much time. When I had free time to work on things for the wedding I wanted to do the task until I could complete it. Basic Invite offers a great free service to request addresses from your guests in just 3 steps for FREE!! All you have to do is share a link, wait for people to respond and collect the address and you get free envelope printing! It is that easy!!
Choosing your design
From a guest’s perspective the first impression of your wedding day will be when they open the mailbox and see the save the date or invitation. After narrowing down from over 1,000 wedding invitations that are part of a set with matching save the dates, RSVP cards, menus and more you can customize the colors of each part to be completely unique. I did not even think about wedding coasters as favors until I saw their website! It’s such a cute idea to accent your big day or even for a special touch at your bridal shower! Not only can you choose to customize each element of the design to over 180 colors but they are one of the few companies that allows the client to have a sample print of what their invitation would look like. Expectation is everything, and maybe it takes holding the invitation and seeing your names printed in front of your and not from computer screen to decide you can do that!
Free Wedding Websites
Unlike when I was married just over 6 years ago, wedding websites have been completely elevated to a new level helping supply guests with so much more than just information now. Basic Invite provides even provides free wedding websites that match your invitation set so everything looks cohesive. They are even mobile friendly, because lets face it, even our last minute family might need to use it for directions on the day of. You can easily customize all the details of your day, add photos, and put a map with directions!
